Our client is a global leader and manufacturer of construction and building materials. They are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer.
Job Description :
- Proper response to machine breakdown in order to minimize downtime
- Ensure Proper Proactive/Preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment and utilities as well as provide good services to all functions
- Manage all Capital/Engineering/Maintenance activities including contractors in compliance with company's EHS standard within budget and planned timeframe
- Keep/Update/Maintain spare part inventories and maintenance records
- Improve continually Manufacturing process for increased productivity, efficiency and cost saving
- Maintain good EHS and Housekeeping Standard in working place
- Participate other tasks assigned by Supervisor
Qualification and Skills :
- Bachelor degree in relevant fields
- Minimum 5-year experience in factory environment
- Good command in English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Outstanding root cause analysis and problem solving skill
- Demonstrate an ability to support teams internally and externally, to ensure effectiveness in line with the needs of the business
- Demonstrate an ability to plan and prioritize workload in order to meet required deadlines and performance standards
- Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards work and is able to respond to business priorities appropriately
- Able to pass on knowledge to other team members and apprentices
- Demonstrates the ability to maintain and improve levels of housekeeping and EHS standards
- Able to work on own initiative
- Able to problem solve in production based environment
- Able to play a key role in the continuing improvement of the factory equipment and maintenance
